While looking through the blogosphere we stumbled on an interesting post today. Here’s a quick excerptSee — I’m already becoming insufferable after drinking this beer, I’m starting to quote obscure facts about Europe. Somebody take this beer from me before I spend a quarter at the University of Hamburg studying Goethe… … [...]

Somewhere in Germany someone just did a review of Rolling Rock, calling it the American equivalent of Warsteiner. Comparing it to David Hasselhoff, so beloved in Dusseldorf, so annoying at home...

Yes, I'm guilty of that one -- it's probably a misguided plan to feel young that led me to review Mickey's Malt Liquor last time. One taste brings you right back to those giddy early days of drinking, when you couldn't afford anything better. I need to find a method to feel younger that is easier on the liver...

Be wary of any beer in a clear or green bottle....especially if it's of foreign origin. The only thing you should drink from a clear bottle is soda pop and even then be wary. It's probably "vintage", or as us laymen put it, downright ancient!

I don't know why, but Corona is a possible exception to this rule. Maybe only because us aging GenX'ers are looking for an excuse to appear young still. Sigh.
